Elevate YOU: The Story Behind the Name

The background story of Elevate YOU.

Well it all began sometime ago when I began my journey of yoga and self-healing. I had been sharing my yoga as a teacher and student long before I became a teacher. I just knew there was something more. I remember the day the name for my business came to me while teaching a yin and essential oils class at Golden Buddha Yoga. Yin is a very slow moving and quiet practice and as I was preparing to offer the next essential oil in class I looked at what I had brought and said out loud ! I think I just found the name of my business - Elevate YOU! The name of the essential oil was Elevation by Doterra and known as The Joyful Blend. A few of the benefits are to elevate your mood and increase your energy. I was like BAM! I had been struggling to come up with a name for my business way too much overthinking. What I did know is that was in alignment with the purpose of my business - to help others feel good and raise their vibration doing it! And Elevate YOU was born - right there in class. I remember the way it felt in my body saying the name and it was exciting. This was the Spring of 2018.

Slow forward to the summer of 2018 and life changing event. I was at a dead stop on the highway and got rear-ended. What happened from there was a catalyst to me living a new life.
